Hello! It’s been a crazy few weeks and there are a few things I would like to share with you.

First off – Lisa Lam asked me to write a guest post for her CraftBoom blog about streamlining social media applications. It was great fun working with Lisa and I learned a lot from the process.

Autumn Wiggins from Crafting a Green World, one of my favorite blogs, wrote a nice post about Smelly Chick’s yesterday and I am just thrilled! The bloggers at Crafting a Green World to a great job of sharing earth friendly tips and materials for all types of crafts.

Both CraftBoom and Crafting a Green World are excellent blogs and you won’t be disappointed if you subscribe to them. They always have great and interesting tips to share regarding crafting and running a craft business.

I had to do some rearranging on the blog. When I started the Soap Porn Gallery, I created pages for each soap spotlight instead of posts. Not at all sure what my thinking was but, for a number of reasons, I had to convert all of those pages into posts. If you were a highlighted soapmaker and linked to your page, you will find that the page no longer exists. You can find your new link by going to the soap gallery and clicking on your soap. I’d also like to take a few minutes to comment on the weather. Mother Nature has been on a rampage over the past few weeks- here in Nebraska where I live – and in other parts of the country as well. The number of tornadoes and the amount of flooding in the past few days alone have been nothing short of incredible and the destruction has been heartbreaking. If you’ve suffered loss due to the recent storms, my heart goes out to you and I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and sound.
