Pat Bailey from Vontrie’s Couture won the Escali Scale in last week’s giveaway and it gave me a chance to visit her shop.  I fell in love with her creative renaming of Blue Sugar to Blue Denim and Brown Suede. Those of you that have worked with Aquolina’s Pink and Blue Sugar fragrances know how hard they are to color. Pat has done a lovely job of making the browning effects of the high vanilla content work for her by working it into the name of the soap. Way to go Pat! If you can’t beat it – go with it!
