Guinness Handmade Soap by Anhoki
Guinness Handmade Soap by Anhoki

MMMMMMMM…Guinness. I love Guinness and I love this soap made with Guinness by Anhoki Smith. It’s unscented and gets it’s rich tan color from the beer alone. This soap has me looking forward to Fall and Football and FOOTBALL PARTIES! I’ve tried my hand at beer soap myself a few times but the results were disatrous. I admire soapers that can make a mean beer soap because the bubbles are to DIE for.

Garden Soap by Anhoki

Anhoki’s Garden Soap has some of the most gorgeous swirls I have seen- especially when you consider all the additives it has in it. Fullers earth, ground oatmeal, pumice and apricot kernel meal gently scrub your grimy gardener’s hands while skin loving oils cleanse and soften them. It’s scented with a special essential oil blend reminiscant of a garden.

Wooden Slab Molds by Anhoki & John
Wooden Slab Molds by Anhoki & John

Anhoki and her husband John have recently taken over her Father’s mold business too. When Anhoki took a brief hiatus from selling her Father’s molds, she received numerous requests to bring them back. She is currently selling the following mold sizes:

  • 25 bar wooden Slab mold - holds 9 lbs of Soap
  • 16 bar wooden Slab mold - holds 5 lbs of Soap
  • 12 bar wooden Slab mold - holds 4 lbs of Soap
  • 8 bar wooden Slab mold - holds 2.5 lbs of Soap
  • 4 bar wooden Slab mold - holds 1.5 lbs of Soap

The molds are made from solid Birch plywood, are oven safe up to 200 degrees and produce bar sizes of 2.5×3.5. Prices range from $14 for the 4 bar mold to $44 for the 25 bar molds. Very reasonable indeed. For more information about these molds and to view Anhoki’s lovely soaps, visit her Etsy Shop.
