Do you offer gift cards at your shows?
I rarely see gift cards offered at craft shows. Occasionally I’ll see a small sign stating that they’re offered, but not in a way that really promotes their use. Gift cards could sell very well at craft shows -especially during the holidays. B&B products are very personal items and many show goers would welcome the opportunity to let their gift recipient select the products they want in the scents that they love.
You can purchase customized gift cards for your business, but the minimum order is often more than a small business can handle at one time. If you’re interested, I did a Google Search and found many companies that offer them.
Making your own gift cards is as easy as designing your own business cards and hang tags in your graphics program. The standard gift card size is 3 3/8″ (width) x 2 1/8″ (height) x 0.30 mil (thickness). The card’s dimensions are the same as a standard credit card. I would suggest that you use a heavier card stock for durability. You can laminate them too if you wish. If you don’t want to print your own, you can custom order them from a printer or order business cards with your gift card design instead of business card info. They will be slightly smaller than a regular gift card. Moo’s new business cards would make beautiful gift cards. A photo of your product would be on one side and they offer laminated cards in their print options. (BTW - I am in no way affiliated with Moo. I just love their stuff.)
Creating holders for the cards can be as easy as creating the cards themselves using the following tutorials or services:

Gift Card Box Instructions by Schlosser Designs Awesome pizza box design for your cards.
American Greetings Create and Print Gift Card Holders There is a small fee associated with the American Greetings Create and Print service, but they have much more to offer than just gift card holders that you may find useful. If you join now, your first month is free!
Now that you have beautifully designed gift cards- display them so that your customers can see them! You could create an attractive sign and staple or tape some of the cards and holders to the sign. The important thing is to display them with the same care and attention you give your other products in order to attract shoppers to them.
